hey peps av gota v reg civic hatchback 1.6 vti 160bhp the best car i have evry had but i now wana make it faster i already have a full stainless steel exhaust system and induction kit i have had a few suggestions like SUPERCHIPS and REMAPPING but dnt have a clue what to do? any help will be very appreciated thanx!!!!!!!

look into bottom end work. you want rods and pistons. for the rods look for Carillo and Eagle. for pistons look for JE or SRP. you want low comp. pistons...9.5:1 or 9.0:1.

 

more torque=acceleration better
more hp= more top end keeping the car cruising at a constant rate

 

(HP X RPM / 5252 = Torque) Usually if your cruising your at a relatively low RPM around 3,000 or less so I would say that it’s the torque that is keeping you moving being that you make more of it then HP at any RPM below 5,252
