Default Need a reccomendation!!!

i have a 97 civic hatch. my stock headers split down the middle and my exhaust pipe burned through and is now just hanging. I've been looking at parts online and they have been ridiculously expencive. i was just wondering if someone could tell me where to get the best deals on exhaust systems. thanks

what do you consider expensive? i just repurchased a full exhaust from headers back for the 2nd time on my new hatch.. DC Sports headers 265.. Magnaflow High flow 2.25 cat 60 bucks.. and catback exhaust 345.. so 670 for all.. thats not bad considering its better than stock.. sounds better/looks better.. and performs better.. if your strapped on cash go to junkyards and try to find a wrecked car that was modded and pull it yourself

you can check with the sponsors on the site.. i personally go to a local shop guy after getting price qoutes between www.ebay.com www.tunersports.com and www.summitracing.com .. between those 3 i get the best prices and then my guy hooks me up but you should be able to get same prices through those sites or like i said.. send model numbers to Sam.. if hes still our sponsor and he should be able to match prices

i got the other day DC's most recent catolog and in it i did not see headers that would fit my hatch. and i noticed that you had DC headers on your engine or something that looked a lot like them?

you can get a custom exhaust made from a local muffler shop, really good muffler would be about 100 bucks, and for piping from the back of the header to the muffler would be another 100 bucks with installation...

so 200 bucks for a custom exhaust system

and

a dc header off ebay for like 300 bucks

total 500 bucks

DC sports headers you can get the ones for the DX that are 4-2-1 or get the 4-1 header that is listed as the EX .. i just asked this question myself as i wanted to put the 4-1 on my new hatch.. the block is the same pretty much on all D series from 92-00

haha, it's not cheap rip off stuff man. Megan has some of the best quality parts for the price. I have their cat-back, and a few others around here have springs, header, etc.. Read the product reviews here at HCF
