Default need for speed

HELP!!!! I don't know where to start. I have a 2000 ex coupe stock except for a SRI installed. I want better performance & speed. Its an automatic, I know I know, but I'm from the city & have enough road rage already to be concerned with shifting.. What can I do to quicken my car up?

If money is no object, do an engine swap!

Money is an issue.. I'm trying to take it slow & steady but yet see gradual increases? How would you upgrade performance piece by piece?

piece by piece huh? Ok, so you got a SRI, good start. Next step is exhuast, get your self a DC header, and a catback, most people here prefer Greddy. Next is up to you, you can either get a turbo, and not worry about performance, if not, get your self a Skunk intake manifold and an after marker TB. Then, perhaps an aftermarket cam. Advance your timing.

There are many options, but you have do decide what you wanna do, and what route to take.

by the way, if you are ever thinking about getting a turbo some time in the near future, don't bother getting a header, just save up for the fan.
