Hey guys the 95 civic i bought is slow getting up and i need a boost in speed. Im new to upgrading cars...i looking to learn some useful tricks....130 on the engine, doesnt have any power anything sucks bout that.

130 means what? Thousands of miles on the engine? You have a d15 engine which means you will NEVER get speed until you rip that thing out of the car and swap the engine... if you ask about swapping the engine you'll be murdered. There is a sticky on the top you can read to save your life.

wow, so im screwed is what your saying cause of the d15 engine, and a swap would be lots of money most likely, hmm not looking good for me. So even getting a CAI and headers....wont help? not trying to make it into a race car i know thats not gonna happen.

ok your d15 if in good shape will put down around 87 hp to the wheel i have a 93 d15 that i put on cold air, a header, and 2 1/2 in exhaust with high flow cat , put down a pretty good 107 to the wheels so they can be a little hp to help but if you want a big change i would turbo hope that helps

Thanks for the tip mugen, maybe all isnt lost then. When i get money ill likely be looking into getting a CAI, exhaust, headers...from what ive been reading bout here and there.

screw IHE. for the price of decent bolt-ons you could be running on a goodboost setup.

how am i angry? all i said was IHE is a waste of money because for the price you could boost.
