my question still is that the civic si and the base rsx both have K20a3 engine .. but si has a manual transmission .. is it possible to stick a turbo thats built for the civic si into an auto rsx ? if so , do you have to change anything ? would it fit ? do turbos have anything to do with the transmission?

i hear people talking about rebuilding there engine to support a turbo ? is that really required ? what other things can you do to maintain a good turbo life span

I don't know the new Si and RSX kits intimately, but I would imagine the only thing that I can think of that might not work would be the piping (it maybe be routed differently). Turbos themselves don't care what kind of car they're on.

And what do you mean by "will there be any performance difference?" It will be a lot faster than a stock RSX, if that's what you're asking.
