Default new to hcf!

my question still is that the civic si and the base rsx both have K20a3 engine .. but si has a manual transmission .. is it possible to stick a turbo thats built for the civic si into an auto rsx ? if so , do you have to change anything ? would it fit ? do turbos have anything to do with the transmission?

greddy sells the exact same turbo model for si and rsx-s ...
HON CIVIC SI 2002-on T517Z cast manif. w/ e-manage & 440cc inj.
ACU RSX Type S 2002-04 T517Z cast manif. w/ e-manage & 440cc inj.

is there any difference ?

i dont think it will not fit .. btw are greddy turbos any good ?
sorry i am a beginner i need all the info i can get .. thanks

i hear people talking about rebuilding there engine to support a turbo ? is that really required ? what other things can you do to maintain a good turbo life span

A turbo will go on a Manual or an automatic.

No.

No, unless you're looking to build a relatively serious performance-oriented car.

are there any minor things to do to the engine .. instead of rebuilding it?
my question is still would a turbo for the civic si fit on an base rsx? ... i kno they are the same engine .. just different transmission and so yea ... and is there anything you have to change b4 mounting a civic si turbo onto a rsx?

is that safe?

will that actually work ?

wil there be any performance difference?

I don't know the new Si and RSX kits intimately, but I would imagine the only thing that I can think of that might not work would be the piping (it maybe be routed differently). Turbos themselves don't care what kind of car they're on.

And what do you mean by "will there be any performance difference?" It will be a lot faster than a stock RSX, if that's what you're asking.

Dude, I don't know what kind of answers you're looking for, but your questions are reeeally vague.
