Oil leak from the Dizzy ...

Default Oil leak from the Dizzy ...

Just as it says, i have an oil leak due to my distributor i have made little gaskets to go inbetween the dizzy and the head but as soon as i go for a test drive there the oil leak is.... this is my second dizzy could it be a slight warping on the part of the head the dizzy mounts to??? any ideas for a solution????

wow dude --still givin u problems---as a last resort i would try this---pop out distributor & clean off bottom of dist. & hole in the head ---then get a big tube of black rtv gasket glue --apply a 1" x1" glob of glue over "dizzy" ring --then jam it back in [dont move it ] go have a couple of beers [sm=icon_cheers.gif] let it dry overnite --fire it up in the morning ---if it still leaks ? its comming from someplace else[sm=headbang.gif]

ya check any other O rings u might see there too......that SHOULD work but murpheys law says otherwise.
