Default ok guys i have a few questions if you dnt mind answering em????

hi every 1 am new to cars and tuning and modding i just wana no what a few things are....

what is the mainfold???
what are throttle bodys
and what is a header??
jus wana no cos a few peps have said i should upgrade these to get better performance out of my vti.. thanx for ya help

They are probably referring to the intake manifold when they say maifold. The IM (intake manifold) brings air to each of the cylinders. The throttle body (attached to the IM) controls how much air enters the engine. The headers (exhaust manifold) brings exhaust from the cylinders to the rest of the exhaust system. You will prolly not see any real gains from a new IM or TB (throttle body) but you will see some decent gains from performance headers.

In the UK we dont use the word 'header' we simply call it a manifold, that is way you are getting confused.
