what kind of intake manifold would be good w/o F/I?

also- couldn't he put in a new headgasket (correct gasket) to up his compression? to up his compression it would be a thinner one, to lower it, it would be a thicker one(only do this if ur gonna f/i ur car).... anyone with knowledge? lol

You wont really be able to up the compression unless you change pistons, and that involves replacing internals, that also goes for the headgaskets. Skunk2 manifold from my knowledge is the best to use on N/A applications.

a thinner gasket would raise compression...not lower it

judging by fast93civic's list in his sig...im willing to bet he has one

Skunk manifold is a very nice piece. I noticed a pretty nice gain in midrange and topend with the manifold and a TB combo. It would make even a bigger difference with an aftermarket cam/s, which is my next goal with the turbo.

Im proud to say that I will be turboing my D16 single cam. TB is throttle body in short. Im sure the "D" will give me what Im looking for, about 200whp on stock internals is the goal.

Does a thinner gasket do a noticable difference? I mean a standard gasket is already really thin.
