painting valve cover.

Default painting valve cover.

wondering how hard it is to paint the valve cover and the intake of my engine. reason is cause i don't like the red scheme pervious owner had and wanna go with blue. http://www.brendon-jeramy.com/civic/newcar%20009.jpg

its easy for the valve cover, and its all in the prep work. the intake is a little harder because its a round tube, but its the same process. there might be a diy on this topic.

i found it thanks, but it's not metal, kinda plasticy is that gonna make a difference.

dude for plastic get KRYLON FUSION scuff up the psurface u want to paitn on the air intake with sand paper and spray a coat of that fusion primer on it up two 3 coats light evenly sprayed coats and then two coats of the paint u want, !!! for the valve cover get high temp paint
