its tough to hear vtec changeover in a SOHC car...especially the d17's.

 

I have no tach so I shift when it sounds like its gunna blow up

 

i got a K engine stock...ill take a pic tomorrow

 

just do what my buddy does in his gti.. Floor it till you hit redline, then slam the clutch in and grab the next gear, while NEVER taking your foot off the gas... I'm pretty sure thats the best way to shift

lol jus being curious here....but wat are the mph's you should shift at? if that is at all possible, because im pretty sure u cannot convert RPM's to mph's unless your going dead str8 on a perfectly flat surface....but lets say that is the case....when should you shift each gear in mph's for a 5 speed.....lol i ask bcause i have no tach either, and ive always wondered how accurate my ears were

i already learned how to burn out, and now i think i gotthe perfect shifts down...and i never hurt anyone who never had it commin to them..especialy on the streets...when i drive i pay attention to the road and all the cars around me at the same time...and i have a unique reation time..so i got nothin to worry about
