he dont want the cam gear ... he wants a performance cam...
and also keep in mind when you upgrade the cam its best to get a tunable ecu.. and get it tuned.

Yes, we have a chassis dyno at the shop. I'll either go with, on the cheap "neptune" or fully go PRO-EFI on the best of things. Just depends on cash flow at the time. The shop wants me to go turbo, but this is my daily driver and I have been this route befor, 2001 civic ED coupe, with nks kit and I was never really happy with the results, 189whp. But, I also never did the stand alone and got sick of spending $ to never really be fast. I currently have 2 race cars, Tube chassis car and 10.0" stock suspension car.
So just don't want to get in to another $7 G-ball project. But not sure as of yet witch way I'm truly going.... I will pick up the motor's today and start going over the head, put it on the port anilyzer. and see what up with it and start porting the head. So need to make my mind.! Because the port and the cam's will be different(sizing)

Thanks for all your replies, I will keep you posted. I will be puttting up all info. as I go, head before after port work and show some differences between what I find on the bench. Also all spec's, as get closer in the next few weeks. Thanks again.

Skunk2 does not makes B18a/b 0r B20 cams. I wish they did.

Ok, Well I went with Brian Crower stage II N/A cam's, More than likely felf some power on the table but we will see... Also Crower spring's and TIT. retainer's. Head is done, cams are in and adjust. Waiting on end seal's , got new cam seal's. Intake should come today, Skunk2 . If it comes early enough, I will have time to play around with it at the shop...

Head Flows as follow's:
Intake Exhuast
.100 = 76.6 cfm 70.0 cfm
.200 = 124.3 163.7
.300 = 221.6 210.1
.400 = 269.8 222.9
.500 = 303.2 224.1
Wide open
Intake= 320.1 Exhaust= 228.8

As you can see the exhaust stall's out pretty good, But this is with siock valves!
You can get better numbers with a more "Tullipped" Valve. Also this head was opened up for comp. reason's, took out the "EYE-BROWS" in the chamber. That's fine, we are at 73% and down low, over 80%. Show's their is alot to be had in cam timing (cam adjust.) Also this was flowed after head was done from the machine shop, my test valve seem's to be alittle better than stock all over the flow curve.
The Honda head is very good head. Alot to be had in porting and also keep in mind at 100% VE you should be able to get 1.8-2.0HP per/CFM N/A !
@300CFM=540HP This doesn't happen because of all kind's of different thing's, ingnition,fuel dellivery and over-all cam profile etc.

We will have to see what happens... Thanks, T-flow cylinder heads

Well got the Intake today, SkunkII pro series. It was pretty good, had some cast nuckles in the runner's. But cut them out and cleaned it up. Hope to get my end seal's and studs in the next day or two. Then put the head on, check P/V . Then all kinds of little stuff. Thanks, T-flow cylinder heads

Crower valve train FTW.

Also SuperTec is good.

A N/A B20 with just 11:1 CR, good luck getting 225 to the wheels. You will be lucky to get to 200.

I had a fully built LS (B18B) block and head with a jackson racing supercharger and only put 150hp to the wheels

150WHP W/ a B20 and super charger........ Had a old D16 2002 civic with HKS turbo kit 180WHP and never got all the things needed to really make it right.
Yes, 200WHP will be hard to get there. More like 170ish is more like it. It has too much CR right now, it was a track engine to start with. He went 10.69 N/A with a V-TEC head
and a gutted CRX 1860lbs.
12.2:1CR now +7cc domes, on paper it's like 11.68:1CR, 54cc chambers, .070" head gasket to get the CR down a bit.
All things being equal, it should make a honest 170-175WHP. I could be wrong but, we will see. Thanks, T-flow cylinder heads
