Default race car..

I just got a 94 civic. I plan on enduro racing it for the rest of the season. Do you guys have any advice for some afordable HP that I can do within a weekend. (nothing major) I dont feel like spending a whole lot. Just trying to get an idear of what I can do to this motor to get it to scream. I run it in 2nd gear around the track if that matters.

The word so far on these motors is a cam and computer to make it competive.

lmk. thanks.

I will take a picture tonight when I go back to the shop.

its a coupe, and had power windows...

so far I took the air box off and threw on a k&n,
removed power steering pump.
working on gutting the interior
welded up some bushings in the shifter linkage to make it more rigid.

Look for a code stamped on the block. Something like D15B7, or D16Z6.

When find the engine code, get an intake, header and exhaust that match your motor, and thats probably the most efficeint way to boost your horsepower. After that, if you wanna spend a grand, look into a turbo.

biiiig F-A-L-S-E. ever look at the price tag on the three combined? 350 for exhaust and header then another 200 for intake...that plus shipping you're getting close to the price of a custom turbo setup.
