Remmy, I've had the same question for a while now. It look like the damn thing just covers the top of the body in front of the radiator...I can't see how that would result in much more cooling.

i'm planing on buying one for my ek, so i haven't had any experience w/ them, but a couple of my friends have ARC cooling plate and says they do work but don't expect too much cooling percentage.

i think it works because instead of the cooler air coming in and going to the engine bay, it gets blocked off by the cooling plate keeping the radiator just a little cooler.

id do that and add a few washers to the hood bolts, this way the hood is higher in the back so it will let hot air out faster.........Forty let me know about that one.
