You have a great engine in there already if it is the d16z6. Is it dead or on its way out or something if not and you want more horsepower there are many other ways you can do that with your stock engine. I mean for 4k you could have a built motor turbocharged and be extremely fast and if that is to much for about 2k you could piece your own kit together and still be faster than any engine swap. most b series swaps and so on will end up costing you more than 2800.

It seems like you would be having a shop do this for you from the way you speak. So it would be about 750 for a shop to doanother d series. For any other series the price can go up.
I have d16 for sale great for turbo check it out bottom of my sig.

^^+1 or a b18c5. Full swap for 4k easy. bolt in reliable 200 hp. I'm not sure what a k-series swap would run you.

Nice try to correct me, but he's not selling a D16Y8, he's selling a D16Y7.
D16Y7=106HP
D16Z6=125HP
game over

EDIT: sorry for being a jerk, I just really hate it when people try to correct me when they are actually wrong.

k20 swap < 300whp boosted d16z6 by the way for boost i would take a z6 over a y8 anyway same power but its obd1 and has a better oil pump. Your engine is vtec and a d16z6. So I suggest researching alot and piecing together your own kit.
