Default Is royal purple the best oil for my civic?
I have 2006 lxi auto,just need to know which is the best oil I can buy for my engine? is mobil1 a good alternative,I dont think I can find royal purple here,I have to order over the net.

i have mobil 1 in my jimmy and i ran it in my old civ...its great oil. you dont need royal purple over it if this is your DD.

well actually...what kinda mobil 1?

If its your daily Id go with some regular 5w-30 unless you drive it hard, then id go with the synthetic, just my 2 cents.

royal purple sucks dont use it. just use mobil or castol full syn.

royal purple sucks dont use it.
ok....

For a dd you dont need top of the line, expensive oil. Of course it wouldnt hurt.

I used to use royal purple........but then they raised the prices.........so I get 5 quarts of mobile 1 full synthetic for 21$ @ Walmart .

for 5 quarts last time for royal purple i think i payed around 35 dollars but best money i have spent on oil yet

What about Amsoil? i hear that is really good stuff and leaves almost no sludge in the engine!
