spray is good for throttlebody, carb, and other spray type of stuff

liquid bottle is good for what pcupo12 did on the vacuum line, oil change(crank case), and fuel injector cleaner in the tank. He got the right stuff just used it slightly different. it is all on the links I posted.

 

As I mentioned on one of the links on my post and I believe it is also on the bottle itself, the vacuum lines would suck the liquid right up. No need for a spray bottle top. You might want to get a hold of a spray bottle to clean up the throttlebody like I mention on one of those links. That way you take care of cleaning everything at once.

 

No, I got the right can. I opened the top, and stuck a spray bottle top in, it didnt screw in, just set there. I sprayed that in to the vac line, it worked fine.

Not sure if this will help but I'll post the DIY up anyways

The Sea Foam looks like this:


It's a 1 pint bottle, and it's up to you how you want to use it.
I split mine up to 1/3 pint for the gas tank, feul injector and crankcase

Pour 1/3 pint into the gas tank and crankcase with the engine Off


Start the engine up and let it warm up.
Then remove the vacuum line from the PCV valve. When you take the vacuum line out, the engine will not be running smooth.
Put the line into the Sea Foam. Try not to stick in into the liquid all the way because your car will stall if you do that. Try to keep the vac line on the surface of the liquid. You can increase throttle to prevent the car to stall and that will also suck in the Sea Foam quicker, or you can use a spray bottle to spray it into the vac line mentioned by Fast93civic. In the process smoke will start to come out from the exhaust and manifold.


When you have the 1/3 pint into the manifold, turn the engine Off.
Restart the engine after 5 min.
There will be a lot of smoke coming out (It's probably a better idea if this is done at night so the smoke is less visible)
The smoke will go away after a while and you're done.
Your car should idle smoother and maybe even at a lower rpm. Pings and stalling should mostly be cured and tbe carbon build up cleaned.

 

I really appreciate the DIY on using SeaFoam. I'm gonna try it once i get my hands on an extra $6.00 (i really am a broke high school student)

I'm glad i was reading up on this. I used the seafoam in my car today and all i can say is DAMN!!! I cant believe $5 can make my car idle and rev that much smoother. I would highly recommend this to everyone.
