The Canadian Si is the same thing as the USDM EX

thanks for all the help. i originally thaught the car only had 106hp so im happy with it having the D16Y8 motor. Im planning on buying a apexi ws2 cat back and maybe an intake/ headers. How will those mods respond to that motor and do i just select the apexi ws2 for the ex car? thanks

Realistically, if you get the intake, header (for future reference, you only have one), and exhaust, you're looking at a 10-15whp gain. If you do it all at once, it's enough that you can feel it a little bit, but if you get an intake, then a month later get a header, then another month down the road you get the exhaust, you won't really feel any of them since they don't add much by themselves. When you order the parts, either order them for a USDM-spec EX or a CAN-spec Si, it's more or less the same car.

That's what I said when I got my Civic EX about 2 years ago. Since I bought it, I have a header (now for sale.... will be making a for sale thread shortly), intake, Intake mani., stage 2 camshaft, etc etc.

Now... I am planning on Turbo by the end of the summer. lol
