so switching to a y8 head would be better in terms of aftermarket available?



and is that cam good for turbo or n/a?

no, that would just cause small problems because of it being obd2, where yours is obd1

if u wanna save some money just have ur stock rods shot peened... i think most local shops can do it... but im not sure. can anyone verify this?

It is the same as over bore but to alot lesser extent. What it does is just takes off enough to smooth and level the cyl walls out. When to speak of overbore I thing .20 to .40 thousandths off which is a good amount but still not in need of sleeves for a 250whp level.
