thinking of a b16 swap
i was just thinking....i might not end up selling my car cause everyone thinks its to much but w.e....i was thinking about swaping the engine out for aa b16....i would like to build it and make it a high 13 or high 12 car on the track...i was thinking maybe you people have doone it before and built a engine with cams and manifold and all that stuff...how much do you think that would run me or what engine do you think i should swap it witht hat would get more power for less money

Um you can get a mid-built b16a ready to go with trans for about 1.5g's id get it here though the ones that are being imported from japan are not passing smog in the US Dropping motor in? **** if you live in LA Il do it for you for $600 take me 5 hrs tuned. but a shop like $1,600

but anyway, b20/b16 frankenstein swaps are amazing. Withjust a simple b16, it's not going to feel much different than a d16 until vtec hits (or so I've heard).The b16a pretty overrated engine, to be honest. That's not to say it's not a good engine, but for the same price, you could get a more powerful b18.
