Timing Belt/Chain

Does any1 know if a 97 Accord LX Sedan has a timing BELT or timing CHAIN? If it has a belt would it be clearly visible?

i think a belt... never really heard of a chain belt on a honda. But i wouldnt be surprised if the s2000 has a chain inwhich im actually lookin to buy

A timing chain can be deadly. My friend has a Isuzu Amigo and the timing chain snap and did some nasty damage.

an isuzu f'in up? wow never heard that, my family has gone thru like 3 isuzu troopers and they never f'd up

Honda cars don't use timing chains. Nissan has always been the frontrunner in that game.

ahh damn, i was picking up an engine for a friend, so i borrowed an old Trooper from his GF parents. that thing was a damn deathtrap. everytime i turned a corner, i thought it was going to tip, even going hella slow.

Only Isuzu Amigo around year 98-99 were recall.
