RE: Timing belt damage?
I put it together today and timed it. Guess what? No smoke and runs just like it did before it broke. The pulley I got from the junkyard is a little different the sheaves are the same but it is more solid, twice as heavy and seemed magnetic on the back. Anybody know what difference it might make? I will test the compression on it tomorrow and see just how ok it is. Thanks everybody for all the help.
