hahaha i've "heard" that these things don't work but I want to know if anyone has ever used em? Has anyone tried one of this things first hand and not by hear say??

I understand the fact that everyone always says there useless but has anyone ever put one in their ride before?

I have a AirRaid throttebody spacer installed on my Dodge Dakota that does this exact same effect by implementing a threading style design on the inside of the throttlebody so as the air passes through the spacer it causes it to spiral into a Tornado effect which in turn is suppose to help condense the air. I have been running it as well as a K&N FIPK since I bought the truck and it was by far the best performance bolt on I did to it. You canreally hear the loud suction when I mash the gas on my Dakota, its very impressive.

I also tried one of these particular gimmiks back in my earlier years which I believe was called the Tornado. I t was nothing but a set of fins which you wedged in the intake tube causing the air to spin as it went through. It was billed ot increase gas mileage and horsepower. I never saw significant gains in either department rendering it pretty much useless.
