so i painted my valve covers today and unknowingly stripped 3 out of the 5 bolts. i have it held down with "C" clamps on both sides until i go to the shop where i get my car worked on. i haven't driven it but started and revved it and its not leaking any oil whatsoever as i can see. my question is: would it be OK to drive about 2 miles like this? i just need to get my car to the shop.

 

I would say tow it just in case. But I think you should be fine if you started it up and it ran without leaking oil.
