undecided about turbo, how to make more power N/A?
I figure turbo'ing my car would run me $5,000 for EVERYTHING.
I need to get a new tv so im going to buy a plasma hdtv. If I wanted to drop $3000 into my car, what gives me the most power for my dollar keeping it N/A. I already have H/I/E. If you could throw me suggestions and how much whp you think I'd have it'd be great. I have 140 stock hp, so about 125whp. |

judging by your name i would go with a crower 403 cam. great cam for an ls motor, But ya want something specific of mods, here we go FOr the block B18C1 GSR Crank GE HD Sleeves Bored out to 86MM CP 13:1 compression pistons Crower ultra light rods New bearings/rings Block Guard For the head Semi Port and Polish Head resurfaced very minimal amount taken off Ferrea 6000 stainless valves Ferrea bronze-manganese guides Ferrea Viton valve seals Buddy Club dual springs Comp Cams steel retainers JG 296/300VT cams JG cam gears valve job performed w/lapping Skunk 2 Intake Manifold Hondata intake manifold gasket STR Cam cap |

No no no. 13:1 compression? Have fun driving on pump gas, your engine should last a week. No one with a street car needs to sleeve. B18C1 crank will rob you of displacement stay with the LS crank but get it balanced. Last your talking about a $6,000 build here man, the guy has 3k.

Most bang for the buck? I'd say either ITB's (extremely expensive... but you can fabricate them yourself for a lot less) or some Stage II cams and aftermarket valvetrain (probably around $1000 or so). The only problem is you have to remember that either one requires tuning afterwards.
