Default undecided about turbo, how to make more power N/A?

I figure turbo'ing my car would run me $5,000 for EVERYTHING.
I need to get a new tv so im going to buy a plasma hdtv.
If I wanted to drop $3000 into my car, what gives me the most power for my dollar keeping it N/A.
I already have H/I/E.

If you could throw me suggestions and how much whp you think I'd have it'd be great. I have 140 stock hp, so about 125whp.

To make a decent amount of power on all motor is more expensive than doing forced induction. If you look hard and do your research, you can get a good turbo kit for less than 2,000. I got my car turbo for about $1,200 (1,600 if you included the clutch, lightweight flywheel and a new right axle[:-])

No no no. 13:1 compression? Have fun driving on pump gas, your engine should last a week. No one with a street car needs to sleeve. B18C1 crank will rob you of displacement stay with the LS crank but get it balanced. Last your talking about a $6,000 build here man, the guy has 3k.

Most bang for the buck? I'd say either ITB's (extremely expensive... but you can fabricate them yourself for a lot less) or some Stage II cams and aftermarket valvetrain (probably around $1000 or so). The only problem is you have to remember that either one requires tuning afterwards.
