Default undecided d16z6 turbo or b16 all motor

I'm undecided on which setup I should go with.
First of all this is my daily driver, but I like to go fast,
I have a eg hatch with a d16z6, and I'm not sure if I should go turbo or swap in a b16
Can anybody tell me which is better for daily driving.(fast daily driving,LOL.)

how much power are you looking for? I know you want a sporty car one that you can street drive but what are your goals, and whats your budget?

turboing the d will be cheaper, but of course that depends on the kit and how much boost your going to be run'n.

If you have the money I would bo with a b18c,it's a good platform forN/A or turbo. And pretty easy to swap just need a couple motor mounts and linkage to go along with the engine from dif model cars... can't think right now exactly which cars

There is no comparison. The turbo D will lay down much more power than the HIGHLY OVER-RATED B16. The b16 does not make much more TQ than the Z6. Boost the Z6 and you will get TQ, and TQ is what makes you go fast. Dropping in a b16 with full bolt ons MIGHT be a mid to low 15 second car. Boosted D16 can safely make 200whp...which will run mid to low 14s, possibly low high 13s with a good traction setup.......boosting a D is cheaper too.

Boost the Z6, That whole B16 is over rated. If your up to it look into the H2B swap.

Thanks guys, that was helpfull infomations, I'll go d16 turbo, don't really want to spent too much on my daily driver
I'll probably get a greddy kit with some rc injectors and intercooler upgrade

I'll post pic when it's installed

Im going to boost my d16, I plan forever was to get a gsr ten I realized that having a job at minimal wage it will take me 6 months to get it. Getting a turbo is a hell of a lot cheaper

ya turbo is cheaper and will give you more horsepower than an all motor b16. it is hard to make a fast all motor b16. turbo is the way to go if you research until your blue in the face and know what you are doing.

might be a little biased but TURBOOOOOOO! i think boost is way more fun to drive with. not to mention my friend with a fully built gsr motor with a couple thousand dumped into it is only making as much power to the wheels as my turbo d16.

Are you serious? IDon't mean any pun but I find that hard to believe. You must be run'n a lot of psi or something. I still gota lot tolearn with turbos and engine specs butit's hard for me to believe that....
