Underdrive pulleys
Hello, My name is Keith, and I have a 89' hatch. I am currently building a Jdm zc motor, and I am a little confused about underdrive pulley's. My stock crank pulley was damaged in transit, so I thought I might upgrade to a lightweight underdrive pulley. After searching online some say not to use them due to excessive wear on the motor. These vechile is not going to be a everyday driver, and I have removed the A/C. Underdrive pulley's seem to be somewhat expensive. What do you guy's think. Should I try to get a stock pulley, or upgrade to the underdrive pulley?.
Also my other question is if I do replace the stock pulley for the 89 dohc 1.6L zc, does it have to be off a zc, or is there another honda pulley with the same dimensions?. Thanks
