i did a mini me swap with a d16z6. i adjusted the valves when i redid the head should i readjust them again after running it after break in?

 

did you adjust them the right way with a feeler gauge? if so then they shouldnt be tapping,

did you adjust them to the correct measurements?

 

is it something you hear only with the hood open and listening for it or can you hear it while driving?
also are you sure its the valves and not maybe a fuel injector ? because fuel injectors do sometimes make a clicking noise
