hi..maybe one of guy can help me with my problem......i drive a 99 civic si.....and everytime ikick vtec in 2nd gear and the carhit 7000rpm the vtec kick off and there is no more vtec for the rest of the gears i already change the computer,the vtec solenoid and the gasket and still have the problem.

how is it shutting on and off? whats it sound like?

 

it sounds like when u try to hit vtec without letting the car warn up and it only do it on 2nd gear and when it hit 7000rpm it kick off and there no more vtec..then i got to turn off the car and start again..but it only dot it on 2nd gear so i dont was going on...i guess ill take it to a shop to see was up..
