i have a 1994 honda civic ex vtec i was wondering is there a possible way my vtec solenoid could be going out it is leaking oil real bad all around it should i try and buy another one and is there some type of new gasket i need and where could i buy it from. and there is oil leaking from my distributor to and i replace the o ring and it is steal leaking to do i just need to buy another one this car is really starting to be a pain i almost wish i had my old neon back

 

you can replace the vtec solenoid if you think its goin out....

 

There should also be a gasket for both those problems.

 

there is a gasket that it sits over that has a little mesh screen in it
