What to do with my new toy
I have recently purchased a 97 civic dx hatch in pretty good condition. I used to have a 96 coupe dx but totalled it before I had the chance to do the work I wanted. Its been a few years since I really did a lot of research on D and B series and power ranges but here is what I would like to get. I would really love to get about 250hp to the wheels but keep the engine naturally aspirated. A friend at work told me he thought this was possible with the D series already in the car I am thinking I will need a B series and still some engine work. Any tips and facts would be appreciated here.

D series N/A will not happen unless you have ALOT of money. B series N/A at 250whp will also prove costly.
How much money do you have to spend, or would like to spend on this? Why do you not want any type of forced induction?

Ok did some thinking and H22 is probably going to be the way to go for me. I already swapped one into my 96 accord and love it. Now when I had my civic before (bout 5 years) an H22 swap was a pretty hard thing to do in a civic. But now I can get the motor mounts and axles from hasport and wiring harness from rywire. What more is involved? any fabrication? Which H22 will be the best? I put a 93 JDM H22A BB4 into the accord. Do any companies make conversion a/c lines to be able to hook the a/c back up? All the guides I found for the swap are pre-everything being fabricated already. any help is appreciated.

I know 2 people with K swaps, both said that with the right mounts and harnesses it was all plug n play into an EG hatch. Everyone says its not worth it online though, so it confused me.
Some dude was running a all stock K20 w/kpro at the track and was running 12.45 all night. Thats a dedicated track car though, gutted, slicks, no exhaust haha.
