Default what i wanna do

Hi guyz i have been flipping thru stuff on the forums and have come to a conclusion. I want a manual swap and an engine swap. First off, a friend of mine says he can find me a b16 for 800-1k so i believe that is a guud deal but im not sure.on the other hand, some of you out there believe the D series is cheaper and easier to modify. I am on a money crunch and want to make this project work. here is a pic of my engine bay and intake i wanna put in:

i need to buy 2 additinal pieces to make it fit

and there is my semi dirty engine bay needs some cleaning

It all depends on the condition of the motor and what it comes with as well as how many miles and how reliable you want it and your hp goal.

if your goal is 200whp, slap an exhaust and a turbo kit on there, get a tune, and call it a day

you can build one and tune it with quality parts for about 1500-2000, but i've seen it done with a thousand (if you know how to wheel and deal).

o rlly? i gotta start saving now. So buying each part separately will knock down the price. Ive heard that ebay intercoolers maybe ok to buy. Maybe so, maybe not. ill check it out. how long does it usually take to assemble a turbo kit? Then how long to install in into the car?

Lol, funny that you ask that, there have been people on this very forum that have taken anywhere from a couple days to collect and install to around a couple years to collect and install (you know who you are)...lol

save up for a b18b ls motor from an acura integra and swap that in and later snail it. ls motors love F/I. Dont get a b16, b18b is way better and without vtec you can still pwn on a b16, b18b has more torque but not as much hp but once you intall a jrsc on that motor it will be fast.
