d16y8. in terms of engine, do people do cams gears next? camshafts, pulleys? as much as i wanna do a turbo setup, i can't fork over all of the money at once and i'm a horrible person when it comes to saving up

As for the engine all you can really only do is pulleys without needing to tune. You might try removing a layer of headgasket to bump compression and run premium gas.

i was in the rut you are in but i am in the process of a port and polish and then cam and then valves, valve springs and valve retainers, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, intake manifold, 68mm tb, then turbo and then low compression pistons, and forged rods and rings,new oil lines and brake lines. just to give you an idea
