RE: What would be the benefits?

Pulleys will give you minimal gains, and Id say are not worth it till you get everything else done. Cam gears are the same, first get cams. Camshsafts are a good idea, they would give you the most power from all the other things you've listed. But first have atleast i/h/e before you get in to cams. You wont need to upgrade the pistons unless you're going F/I or a really heavy duty N/A build.

F/I = Forced Induction (i.e. Boosted, Bottled or Blown, or in english, Turbo, Nitrous, or Supercharged)

N/A = Naturally Aspirated (i.e. None of the above/All motor)

I wouldn't touch your alternator or crank pulleys.

go cams but i dont recommend over a "280" grind for the street above this and you lose vacuum and idle quality and a manual tranny or stall converter becomes mandatory, get your CAI header and exhuast done first before you change the cams though otherwise you wont be able to really feel how much the cams are "worth" port, portmatch and polish the head next, have fun with it.
