b18 myself, but k series isn't bad either

the engine thing could be cool too. They have a small jaguar turbine engine i bet would fit neatly in the trunk. Hmm. Cooling and alignment would be the really big issue. just food for thought

Each engine has it's advantages and disadvantages. b16 and b18 are almost direct swaps but you will need few extra things like motor mounts, shift linkage, etc. b16 has less power than the b18 but is cheaper. K20 is the best but most expensive and you will need to do a lot more work to fit it in. do some searching for more info.

 

B16 doesn't necessarily have less power than a b18. Depends on which motors you are talking about. B18a, b, c1, c5. B16a1, a2, a3...ect. Of course a b18 is going to have the torque advantage because of the extra displacement though.

And to the OP. The motor that is best for you depends on your goals for the car. What are you looking to get out of the car? Different engines are going to cost you different amounts.

 

Engine all depends on the person who going to use it turbo motor n/a depends on what you want to do and what your goals are and your budget

 

Pull the engine out of a Hayabusa. 1300cc's of motorcycle fury.
