Default wut motor should i get???

hi im fairly new to this site and whatnot. i havea 97 hx. i havent had it very long, but ive done a few decent appearance mods such as the enkeis, si taillights, shaved the emblems... it looks pretty good, now im ready for some go... ive been told to go w/ a b18c and also told to go w/ a b16. i really cant decide. w/e i endup with will eventually be turboed and shortly after getting it i will be putting on the greddy evo 2 exhaust setup. money isnt a real big deal b/c i have a nice little sum saved and my parents are helpin too. help me out wut should i get??

I'd go B18 more displacement is allways better, the B16's are cool engines and a cheap swap but you get 30 more HP and only like 5 more ft lbs of TQ than a D16Y8(96-00 civic ex engine),plus a B18 will spool a turbo quicker making it so you can use like a T3/T4 rather than a dinky lil 15g or T25

Go with a GSR motor (B18C1). It's a very popular motor for turbo applications, and it is notorious for being beastly when built and boosted. A B16 won't handle boost very well due to the low displacement/high CR factor.
