you cant swap b series into a 7th gen, wont pass smog. you can only swap a K in. and you're lookin at roughly $8,000.

 

I was planning on doing a K series anyways as they are newer and better. And $8000 is right in the neighborhood is expected such an investment to be. Thanks for the heads up though.

 

if you are mechanically inclined or have a decent amount of experience with cars and what not, i recommend you swap it in yourself.. there is a sticky in the section for swapping engines on this forum letting you know what you will need. if you do, post it in the project section, im sure everyone on here would love to read about it.

Haha I would hope I'm mechanically inclined considering I'm gonna be a mechanical engineer / car designer. Although currently I am still stuck in high school and have never done anything like this before, would it still be a bad idea to try it myself? Everybody's gotta start somewhere, and I bet I could figure it out...
