Default ZC high compression?

I have a zc in my civic hatch. I was wanting to get a bit more horse power out of it. I have done all the bolt ons.... I was wondering if anyone has done or knows someone who has put high compression pistons in their zc. I see them going pretty cheap on e-bay. Also I was wondering if I should do connecting rods or crank along with it. Im not very familiar with honda engines and Im not sure if they are prone to breaking. I am hoping for another 10-15 out of it but I dont know if thats concievable. Let me know if you can help. Im trying not to venture into turbo charging,I have already been down that road with a vw.
