Default High or Low Compression?

Let's say I rebuild my engine, how would I decide between OEM specs pistons, High-Comp pistons, or Low-Comp pistons... I don't understand why you wouldn't just go straight to the high compression pistons?

Ok that's actually what I thought.. Just one thing, what does N A mean exactly? I understand by context that it's a non boosted engine but.. It's not the first time I read that!

yup

FI = Forced Induction ie Supercharger, Turbocharger etc

NA = Naturally Aspirated ie You want your engine flowing as best as it can, headwork, good header/exhaust/intake, high compression
