Default will A3 +turbo fit????

I've read several sites that debated if turboed k20's would fit into the civic. I was wanting to put a k20a3 in my civic and turbo the engine. will this set up fit without moding the hood or anything like that?

I think regardless of the fitment, I would ask myself if the A3 is the best option for your car over an A2. An A3 is going to cost quite a bit of money and if you are spending the cash already, I think it would probably be best to get the A2. Either way, it's up to you! Good luck!!!

it would be less to turbo a a3 than swapping the a2.
engine swap 1700
install 850
turbo 2350
total 4950

k20a type r is 5600 just for the swap package.

since the a3 is a k motor would the 6 spd lsd from the s-type match up to it? what is the advanitages of the 6 overthe 5?

The A2 is out of the Type-S not the Type R, just for clarification. Also, I think it would be very hard to source an A3 for $1700. Not that I look that often, but I haven't seen any K series go for that cheap. Right off the bat, going with the Type-S (A2) motor, you will have 50 more HP than the A3, which is a lot. To each his own though!
