Default 50miles per gallon!

I drive a 2011 civic coupe LX. I came from an airport near hartford, CT to Albany, NY nearly 110miles only on two gallons approx. I stuck around 2500rpms the entire ride and didn't go over that.

check out the photo below***
it says 101 but i drove about 10miles before i restarted the meter. If you read the gas usage, its about 4 clicks down. I didnt actually count how many bars are on the meter but someone can do the math for me if they wanna be accurate.

Lemme know if this works out for you guys.

I don't think counting the bars is too accurate. Start with a full tank, drive to where ever, fill the tank again and divide miles traveled by gallons added in on the second fill up.

just start with a full tank at one click, drive your XXXX miles, and then fill back up to one click. then come back telling us how the mileage is.

if that was the case, my GTO gets right around 45, because it is over full, then doesn't actually go down to "full" until about 45 miles or so.
What's with the attitude? The guy enjoyed his drive in a Civic. He mistakenly thought he got exceptional gas mileage. Dude has one post, way to run off a new member.

it would be more accurate to do a full tank.
fuel mileage is done by averages, not by single instances.
my car gets 250km before hitting 3/4 full, but i only get another 250 out of that 3/4 tank.

2012 Civics here in Canada are rated 56 miles per gallon....but the
Canadian gallon is a bit larger than the US gallon.
