Really? Damn. I would have thought more like $800.

A friend of mine did it and he did not break 1000$ he got the tranny from a friend for about 100$ and had it installed somewhere (dont know) for about 800$ from what I remember... it is almost easier just to buy a car with a manual IMO...

yea good point. I never understood going thru all that trouble to make a manual out of a auto car.

well really around 800-1200

I think I might throw a GReddy turbo on my car when I get the loot. You guys think that's a good idea for this engine and car?

The oiling on the rod berrings can get restricted by dirt and other objects in the oil, starving the berrings, running them dry, resulting in a failure. I know a number of them that this has happened to including my own and Tony's(forty04)
