a long *** time... well lets see i started last tuesday... we used an impact gun; nothing, breaker bar; engine spun, hits the breaks; engine spun, we then went back to the breaker bar, and sheared off about 3 extensions! after a few days of this headache, i went to Waltz and got a 500lb impact gun; nothing, went back to waltz and told them my scenario, so they traded me for a 1600 lb gun instead . They said if this did not do the trick nothing would, so I tried that, and well... nothing! so I returned the gun, and went to a Honda dealership and asked if I could talk to a mechanic and they handed me a one of the pulley bolt removal tools, with a custom modification to it so that it uses the chassis to hold it in place (other than someone else holding it) so I used that, and bought some high torque spec extensions and used a 6 foot steel pipe that I slid over my breaker bar... well I lifted myself off the ground that did the trick! Anyway, thats my story, so one week later, its off! EFFING-A I'm happy

Continued my 4 months and continuing search for a 92+ 2d EX 5spd...[&o][:'(][X(][:@] I had found a 94 with slight body damage and 130k for 2300 but it got sold the day I was going to go on the 1.5 hour drive to buy it[:'(] I went and test drove it and got the VIN, the odometer was rolled back but it still only had about 130k on it.

Blew a kiss to my Hatch as I drove my '97 4x4 Dodge Ram to work.

It's leaking oil like a big dog - leaving about a 3" spot after each time I drive it. Gotta stay parked until I track down the leak... although it's looking like head gasket. On the advice of a friend, I re-used the stock head-bolts after the head suffered heat warpage. Gonna hafta order the good ones now.

I've been working on getting my drum to disc conversion completed. Right now I'm fixing, replacing, and painting. I rebuilt one caliper and had to replace the other because the piston was crap, the brake was seized, and it was rusty as hell. I got Brembo drilled rotors and Bendx pads.

Next I'm going to paint the calipers, protective coat the trailing arm, and start the install. I have the 4040 tegi proportioning valve tempting me right now.
