ORIGINAL: civicn00b

Installed Sirius satellite radio through the aux port on my Kenwood cd player.
Speaking of which I would've liked to not have used the cigarette lighter as a source of power, not because I use it but because it would look cleaner that way. I was thinking of stripping down the wires and hardwire them to the cigarette lighter but someone who installs systems in cars (best buy geek squad employee) told me not to do that because theres some type of resistor.
nope no resistor on the wires!
i did it with my old sportster replay unit.
either take apart the cig lighter plug input and just cut the wires on the oppropriate conections to the power source of your choice very easy....

but they are tiny wires be carefull when striping the wires since they break very easily!

Put $10 worth of gas in it... probably the last money I'll ever spend on the civic

Just ordered my NGK spark plug wires (get to pick them up around 3pm today), also picking up a new cap and rotor and new spark plugs. Oh and I recently sea foamed her. I'm also going to change the oil today if it doesnt rain.

washed it...again, but this time put on some meguiars next gen detailer. Has some poly.something in it, keeps it clean and slippery. Then put on meguiars spray wax. The spray was actually dripping down the car because of how slippery the detailer was. Looks better than ever

tomorrow I'm taking it in to a shop to look at the front suspension. Major squeaking when I feel any bump, especially when it's hot/dry outside and I'm going over 40. Hopefully it's my struts because I'm getting coilovers in the next few weeks and anything else would just be money wasted
