Default $$ of a new(er) Civic Si

Hello all. I am about to buy an 06-08 Si and haven't decided whether to get a coupe or sedan. I was wondering what others have paid for theirs at dealerships. I don't care what your payments are, I want to know, when you left, what was the actual amount you owed. I think I've found two pretty low priced ones at a nearby place, but was wondering how much others paid.

Why not buy one from a dealer? It comes inspected and certified. I realize you pay more at a dealer, but it comes with some peace of mind knowing A, there's not just something wrong with it, and B, its been cleaned, detailed and well taken care of while its there.

The inspection a dealer will do is really not worth the extra your going to pay them. If you are lookin at 2 or 3 year old cars with lower mileage there really isn't anything that could be wrong with it, if it drives well, is cosmetically good, and if you or a mechanic friend takes a look under the hood and its fine 99% of the time it will be fine. Detailing a car is not worth it i enjoy given my car a good cleaning. I wouldn't pay anyone to do it for me.Also if you look at a car before it has been detailed you can usually tell by the condition of the interior and exterior whether or not it has been taken good care of mechanically.

I would beg you not to buy from a dealer, it's just handing someone cash. But if you insist you can compare prices at usedcars.com and cars.com they have dealers that list on there, nadaguides.com and kbb.com both will give you the price a dealer should charge and will also show you what you can expect to pay if your not buying from a dealer. I checked and they estimate that you will pay atleast 2,000 more if you buy the exact same car from a dealer. If you feel $2,000 is worth your peace of mind and detailing than go ahead and buy from the dealer.

Must just be you. The first thing I think, when I see it, is how sexy it is.
