so there is a guy around my selling his civic dx,it'sstock but he has afew mods and akiller sound systembut only thing is there's no a/c and tachometer( the car is stick and this is my first stick car). I was wondering is it worth buying and throwing down money to put the a/c in and what should i do about the tachometer

 

well if you really need ac then you could put one in, but it does rob power from the engine.
Tachs are pretty easy to hook up so you could just buy a aftermarket tach and put it in like I did. green wire goes to the signal(not sure where it is on a 03) red to fuse box, black to ground and white to the dimmer switch. have fun.

i've got an 03 LX coupe, 5spd, w/ tach and ac for less... body has 120k miles, bottom end of the motor has 60k, head (currently being rebuilt) 0 miles. its got exhaust, rims, intake, black-painted headlights, tinted windows... dent in passenger quarterpanel where it meets the bumper. $6k

 

im not getting the dx for obvious reasons. But I need a low key car cuz i live in va and cops write tickets like its cool for tints and exhaust like its the fun thing to do, thanks though.

if you drive safe, and don't have anything illegal in your car, there is nothing that they can give you a ticket for.
