Hey, why doens't this site have a seperate categorey for 1/4 mile times and Kill stories?

If you do have some impressive #'s to post on 1/4 mile times (street cars, please?) then post em! I would like to know the roundabouts for some of these cars here...

And kill stories... everyone's got one, surely... I hope...

 

dear lord... I like it here because we dont have a section for people to sign up and make their first post a little something like this:

"Today I got my new cold air intake on my stock Civic and during my test runs this punk in a brand new Manual (they always seem to know that its a stick) GT Mustang lines up with me at a traffic light. He gives me this dirty look so I smoke him by about 3 car lengths. It was great and I love my new 60 HP intake!"

I think that if you have a kill story or some #'s to post then post them, but to make a "kill section/racing stories section" is just begging for trouble. If you dont believe me then go to any other Honda forum. Just my input, feel free to tell me im wrong.

 

and as a whole, we dont really like to endorse street racing here. even though we all know all of us do it occasionally. its just better not to have our own little section on it, as that might encourage it. but as for the 1/4 mile times, its been suggested that we have a competition forum, for E.T.s and stories about different kinds of racing. We'll see what the Admin thinks about that.

 

the averag 1/4 mile time for any honda is 5 to 10 mins and the kill stories are you engine blowing up because your electric turbo melt a fuel line ricers

 

i was thinking more like 10 - 15 minutes
and getting your doors blown off by a 92 awd turbo clipse

wow, whats with the hatin? and even with the 1.6 i had in my car, i schooled an AWD turbo eclipse, three times at the track. so im not too worried about getting shown up by one with the 1.8L. unless its got a bunch of bolt ons and crap. those things love bolt-ons. ive seen dynos on 2nd gens that show 30 horses at the wheels with a damn intake.
