Default 1994 civic

well i finally bought a car, a 1994 honda civic cx hatch, it runs really good so far and i cant wait to start working on it! First thing to do, new headlights, i find these stock ones are dim(the bulbs) and then a cd faceplate, there is none, just cassette! Any other suggestions for first upgrades?

get some lowering springs for it.

they're cheap, make your car look better and improve your handling.

Forget lowering springs! Just cut the ones you have, it'll be fine. Or better yet, heat them and make them smaller. (JUST KIDDING, DO NOT DO THAT)

I always start new cars out with H/I/E and definetely a new head unit. That's always a good place to start.

Get some pics ASAP, we all love to see new civics in the HCF community.

Yeah. Starting with I/H/E will improve throttle response and make your car a little better sounding, and the H/E will improve your MPG. First thing you need to remember when modding a car is What do you expect to get with this car? Do you wanna get a certain Hp? If your looking for large Whp numbers your going to need to Turbo your Civic. With a boosted civic it can still be a daily driver. If you look at Sov. He has a SOHC D boosted and hes making up some pretty impressive numbers for the amount of boost he is running. For apearance you can still mod and be a sleeper. Lip kit instead of a body kit will look a bit more like a stocker. Good luck! Hope this helps
