Default 1995 civic lx automatic tranny filter???change it???

Ok quite stumped here......I bought a filter for the tranny just because I change and address everything that needs it......and I dont see a transmission pan.........anywhere, and I called the parts place and they said ....dissassemble the tranny????ok.........why did honda do this????and does anybody change the filter or not??my transmissions are always full of very fresh fluid and a good filter

1995 DX automatic. Maybe the guy at the Honda service departmentwas bullskating me, but I asked atthe dealership how much a tranny fluid and filter change would cost me. I was wanting to keep the Jiffy Lube people straight because they quoted like $119.00 He (the Honda guy)laughed and said there's no filter, it's just like a high price oil change. Ended up costing me $49.00 at the dealership for the tranny fluid change with Honda fluid.. Not too shabby.

Hahahaha yea I was looking for the filter in "the book" only to find none after Largo Honda told me there is none...

ok update on the filter thing.......there is one........dissasembly is required.......I got him to admit there is one....however they rarely change it.........I again got the just change the fluid every 24000 miles........now what honda is doing to avoid changing the filter I havnt a clue.
