hi everyone i have a 2000 civic si and recently i notice am loosing power at high rpm sometime it's fine but other times i can even feel the car is loosing power, the car has 80000 miles and someone told me it might be the cap and rotor might be need to change. can someone give me any iday

 

Well, what have you done to your car recently? I'm no expert, but when did you last get an oil change, replace oil filter, get a tune-up(replace plug wires, plugs, cap, rotor), and you might want to replace the fuel filter as well. What about the air filter?

Also, do you have any intake/exhaust leaks?

 

thank you for replying i forget to mention yes i did replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, plugs wires and oil change every 3000 miles also clean the injectors
